Favorite Food:
    A tie between avocado and the In-N-Out cheeseburger. 

Favorite Drink:
    Tequila!  Although I must say I'm parcial to Brazilian caipirinhas as well.

Favorite TV Shows:

    While I'm nostalgic for the era of prime-time Sci-Fi programming (especially Star Trek, which has been a huge influence on my personality), my current favorites are How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory.

Favorite Movie:

 Contact.  Carl Sagan's only work of fiction, this movie brings the debate of science vs. religion to an amazing apex when an agnostic scientist (portrayed perfectly by Jodie Foster) discovers a message of extraterrestrial origin.

Favorite Celebrity:

   Shakira..  This Columbian rockera is extremely hot, plus has awesome music in multiple languages (most of which she writes herself).  "Ojos Asi" is my personal favorite, and who can forget "Hips Don't Lie"?.

  But wait, lets not stop there.  She's also got an IQ high enough to be in Mensa and a sharp political voice heard by politicians worldwide.

  Finally, she has been ranked as "Humanitarian of the Year" by People magazine, performing in benefits concerts for victims of many natural disasters and wars, and donating millions of dollars to similar causes including her foundation, Pies Descalzos, which provides food and education for more than 4000 impoverished children in Colombia.

  Oh, and did I mention she's extremely hot?


Favorite Videogame:

Final Fantasy VI (Final Fantasy III in the United States) is my choice for best game of all time.

 It will make you laugh.  It will make you cry.  It will make you think.  It will entertain you (for many, many hours), and will shock and amaze you.

 It also includes the most memorable soundtrack I've ever heard in a movie or a game, and has been the theme of several concerts by well known orchestras, including the Tokyo Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Favorite Book:
    Ender's Game.  A frighteningly believable tale of a young boy named Ender Wiggin and his unique gift for military strategy.

Favorite Toy:
    LEGOs.  The LEGO is the greatest toy ever invented because it never gets old.  Not only can the blocks be disassembled and reassembled when you are bored with whatever you've created, but new LEGO pieces are constantly coming out to evolve with the imaginations of their constructors.  Now if only they weren't so damned expensive..
